General: Obama purposely weakening U.S. military
A former deputy commanding general of the U.S. Pacific Command says President Obama seeks to “seize control over national security” and, bypassing Congress, singlehandedly weaken the U.S. military. Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, retired, charges in a 21-page position statement made available to WND, titled “The Obama Military – Evolution and Legacy,” that Obama already has begun working with Russia to reduce nuclear weapons without a treaty, which would require Senate ratification.
Obama’s failure of moral courage
But leadership comes down to moral courage. Now, with the Iran deal the loser is not just the State of Israel. It is the leadership of President Obama. We’re back to an American foreign policy prepared to make deals with terror funding states, unfreezing billions of dollars in assets for a temporary halt to their nuclear ambitions.
For months the problems of ObamaCare have dominated politics in Washington. The botched rollout of the individual mandate part of the law, the loss by millions who have had their policies cancelled, the inability of the main web site to function properly, have led to a political disaster for President Barack Obama, whose popularity has sharply declined. Similarly, in foreign affairs during the last year he resembled Hamlet in the White House, experiencing difficulty in making up his mind to decide on a policy on Syria. On both domestic and foreign policy Obama’s credibility has been challenged.
