Does Saying ‘New World Order’ Make You a Terrorist?
Mainstream news outlets are blaming conspiracy theorists for the TSA shooting that took place at LAX last Friday due to an alleged manifesto, which shooting suspect Paul Ciancia supposedly carried with him, citing New World Order “conspiracy theories.”
From the Associated Press:
The FBI got a warrant Monday to search Ciancia’s cellphone for materials reflecting his “views on the legitimacy or activities of the United States government, including the existence of a plot to impose a New World Order,” according to court documents.
Numerous prominent politicians and world leaders were embracing the “shadowy subculture” of New World Order and one-world government “conspiracies” long before the alternative media was weathering flimsy accusations. Will they too be blamed for the LAX shooting?

“What is at stake is more than one small country, it is a big idea — a new world order where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind: peace and security, freedom and the rule of law. Such is a world worthy of our struggle, and worthy of our children’s future…
“We will succeed in the Gulf. And when we do, the world community will have sent an enduring warning to any dictator or despot, present or future, who contemplates outlaw aggression. The world can therefore seize this opportunity to fufill the long-held promise of a new world order – where brutality will go unrewarded, and aggression will meet collective resistance.”

– Commencement Address at Texas A&M University, May 12, 1989“Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective — a new world order – can emerge: a new era — freer from the threat of terror, stronger in the pursuit of justice, and more secure in the quest for peace. An era in which the nations of the world, East and West, North and South, can prosper and live in harmony…“At this very moment, they serve together with Arabs, Europeans, Asians, and Africans in defense of principle and the dream of a new world order.”

A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful–and we will be–we have a real chance at this New World Order. An order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN’s founders.”
– Bush speech from the Oval office, January 16, 1991“My vision of a new world order foresees a United Nations with a revitalized peacekeeping function.”

– “Back to the Womb? Isolationism’s Renewed Threat,” Foreign Affairs, July/August 1995
“In short, the ‘house of world order‘ will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great “booming, buzzing confusion,” to use William James’ famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.
– The Hard Road to World Order, Foreign Affairs, April 1974
“The old world order changed when this war-storm broke. The old international order passed away as suddenly, as unexpectedly, and as completely as if it had been wiped out by a gigantic flood, by a great tempest, or by a volcanic eruption. The old world order died with the setting of that day’s sun and a new world order is being born while I speak, with birth-pangs so terrible that it seems almost incredible that life could come out of such fearful suffering and such overwhelming sorrow.”
– speech to the Union League of Philadelphia (28 November 1915), printed in A World in Ferment, Interpretations of the War for a New World (1918)

“My country’s history, Mr. President, tells us that it is possible to fashion unity while cherishing diversity, that common action is possible despite the variety of races, interests, and beliefs we see here in this chamber. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
– Memoirs, 2002
“…the drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control… Do I mean a conspiracy?
