Bill would make annoying a cop a crime

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A bill currently making its way through the State Legislature would make it a crime to annoy a police officer, a move that could have far reaching consequences.
Anyone found guilty under the bill, should it become law, could face up to four years in prison.
(This law is tailor made to stop video taping of police when they violate individual liberty considering that cops routinely walk up to videographers and put their hand over the camera.  If the videographer attempts to step back or brush away the cop’s hand, they can be arrested and the camera confiscated…)
