Fallacy of “hate crimes”

A crime is a crime, making something more or less of a crime based on who it is committed against is not justice.

Justice should be “blind” in that the law and enforcement of the law applies the same to everyone, no one is above or below the law. “Levels” based on who commits the crime or who it is committed against are wrong. “Levels” based on the nature of the crime, damages, intent, etc. are appropriate and already addressed by existing law.

Issue is with selective enforcement of existing laws, corrupt judicial system, and not holding politicians, bureaucrats, and judges accountable. Creating new laws in this environment will not fix anything. Making something that is already a crime selectively more of a crime or “hate crime” will not fix anything but instead create additional abusive tools in the hands of an already corrupt system.
